Have I ever told you I started this blog because of a crush? (A different one.) We worked in the same building years ago. He was older, sweet, very flirtatious. Precisely what I needed. It was lovely to be told that I was beautiful. I see that in myself, but I appreciate when someone else says so.

So I began writing this blog as the most indirect way of flirting in the world.

And do you know what happened with that guy? Nothing.

Do you know what happened with this blog? Everything.

A bit of a strange beginning, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

As to what will happen with this new crush? I can’t say. For now, I’ll just hold my tongue and love the place I’m in. Because I really do.
